Structural carpentry associated with the renovation of the 1940’s 5 level wool store in Surry Hills into office space.

Work Completed

• Replace 180 hardwood floor joists. Supply and install specially milled hardwood to match existing. (300 x 70 x 4800)
• Supply and install new rafters and purling to strengthen the existing roof to the engineer’s detail
• Strengthen existing hardwood members with steel beams
• Install 4500m² of Hardwood ply flooring to achieve the required fire rating
• Repair and make good existing hardwood flooring
