Bosco Building were awarded the fit out contract for the upgrade of the central facilities at “The Mac” Mining accommodation camp in Moranbah Queensland.

The project involved the construction of 3 new buildings, the Administration Office, Tavern and Kitchen/Dining room.

Work Completed

• 2500m² of suspended ceilings
• Over 2000m² of steel stud, track and furing channel for internal and external walls
• 3000m² of Plasterboard supplied and installed ready for painting
• Supply and install 35 doors
• Supply and install commercial windows, doors and glazing
• 500m² curved hoop pine ceiling

Innovation and Problem Solving

Remote area in Northern Queensland. Evacuation mid-build due to cyclone.

All materials trucked in from NSW because of the Qld Floods and the remoteness of the site.
